Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry
Pediatric dentistry focuses on patients from birth through 16 years of age. Our mission is to provide primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants, children, adolescents ,including those with special health care needs .
The Department of Pediatric Dentistry is responsible for teaching dental students the fundamentals of oral health care for children.The curriculum is designed to encompass the theory and practice of pediatric dentistry. Community outreach events are also conducted which bring together faculty, staff, alumni and students to provide valuable dental care to the children of our region.
